A Calm, Professional Approach
I believe growth happens when people feel seen, heard and supported.
Sometimes something doesn’t feel right, but it can be hard to explain why.
Counselling offers a steady, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace, without judgement or pressure. Your story is yours, you decide what you want to share, and if or when to share it.
My role is to listen carefully and help you notice patterns and connections that may not yet be clear, so that what feels confusing or overwhelming can begin to make more sense.

Counselling & Professional Support
01.Children & Young People’s Counselling
If you’re worried about your child, counselling offers a calm, supportive space for them to talk, reflect and feel heard. Sessions may include talking, creative or play-based approaches, helping them express themselves in ways that feel natural. The focus is on helping them make sense of what they are feeling and feel more settled. A free First Steps call is available.
02.Adult Counselling
If something doesn’t feel right, counselling offers a steady, confidential space to talk things through at your own pace. You can explore thoughts, emotions and situations without judgement or pressure. Together we look at patterns and connections, helping things feel clearer and more manageable. A free First Steps call is available.
03.Workshops and Partnership Support
Practical wellbeing workshops for children and young people, alongside reflective support for adult staff teams. Led by a qualified counsellor, sessions are grounded in therapeutic understanding and adapted to suit the age group and setting. Themes include resilience, stress management, communication and emotional regulation. Enquiries welcome to discuss your group’s needs.
Fees
Counselling sessions are £50 per session, with each session lasting up to 60 minutes. Reduced-fee spaces may be available in certain circumstances.

Partnerships
We’re proud to partner with ACAMHA — the African, Caribbean, Asian and Mixed Heritage Association.
Formed in 2022, ACAMHA works to educate, connect, and uplift local communities while celebrating the richness of African, Caribbean, Asian, and Mixed Heritage cultures. Together, we promote equality, diversity, equity, acceptance, and belonging through cultural events, music, education, seminars, and workshops.
This partnership reflects our shared belief in inclusive wellbeing and community empowerment.
I work in partnership with Fraser Hepburn Joinery, Oak to Bespoke, supporting the wellbeing of apprentices as they transition into the workplace.
There can often be a gap between school, college, employment and home. This transition can be challenging for some young people, particularly as expectations shift and support structures change.
Using my counselling skills and experience, I offer a space for apprentices to talk, reflect and build confidence, helping to bridge that gap and support both wellbeing and engagement in the workplace.
If your organisation would benefit from similar support, please get in touch.

We’re proud to be an active part of the Cawdor Community Centre Association — a local hub supporting connection and wellbeing across the area.
Alongside this involvement, MJO Wellbeing Services Ltd has contributed to initiatives such as Cawdor’s Way to Wellbeing, helping create safe, supportive spaces for children and families.
Community-based workshops, including Relax Kids sessions, Parenting Wellbeing Workshops and Activity Days, have supported positive mental health and strengthened local connections.
Counselling services operate independently, while remaining rooted in the community we serve.
Mike sits on the Haven’s Port of Ardersier Community Fund Panel, supporting the distribution of funding to local projects. This involvement strengthens his understanding of community need and informs his wider work supporting children, young people and families.
We’re proud to be working with Myself Management, a Highland-based charity supporting people across the region.
Mike has been invited to design a series of Wellbeing Modules for use in clubs, schools, and community settings. These are being developed in collaboration with a youth focus group — ensuring the content is engaging, relevant, and shaped by the voices of young people themselves.
This project reflects our shared commitment to accessible, youth-led wellbeing resources.
