Bridging the Gap in Practice
“At MJO Wellbeing Services, we believe real change happens when people feel seen, heard, and supported. Through therapeutic support, coaching, and community work, we help children, families, and communities strengthen confidence, connection, and wellbeing across the Highlands

Counselling Waiting list
Counselling sessions will be opening shortly. This waiting list is for adults and young people who may be interested in counselling once appointments become available.
If you choose to join the waiting list, your details will be held securely and you will be contacted when sessions open. Joining the list does not commit you to counselling, and spaces will be offered based on suitability and availability.
If you’re experiencing immediate distress, feel unsafe, or need urgent support, this waiting list is not an emergency service. Please contact your GP, NHS 111, or attend A&E in an emergency. You can also contact Samaritans on 116 123 or text SHOUT to 85258 for immediate support.
Use this form to register your interest in future counselling appointments.
Counselling sessions will open later this year. Completing this form does not commit you to therapy.

Partnerships
We’re proud to partner with ACAMHA — the African, Caribbean, Asian and Mixed Heritage Association.
Formed in 2022, ACAMHA works to educate, connect, and uplift local communities while celebrating the richness of African, Caribbean, Asian, and Mixed Heritage cultures. Together, we promote equality, diversity, equity, acceptance, and belonging through cultural events, music, education, seminars, and workshops.
This partnership reflects our shared belief in inclusive wellbeing and community empowerment.
We’re proud to be working with Myself Management, a Highland-based charity supporting people across the region.
Mike has been invited to design a series of Wellbeing Modules for use in clubs, schools, and community settings. These are being developed in collaboration with a youth focus group — ensuring the content is engaging, relevant, and shaped by the voices of young people themselves.
This project reflects our shared commitment to accessible, youth-led wellbeing resources.
We’re proud to be an active part of the Cawdor Community Centre Association, a local hub supporting connection and wellbeing across the area.
Alongside his role on the committee, Mike has worked with the team on Cawdor’s Way to Wellbeing — developing programmes that create safe, supportive spaces for children and families.
Together, we’ve delivered Relax Kids sessions, Parenting Wellbeing Workshops, and Activity Days that help strengthen community ties and promote positive mental health for all ages.
FAQs
Common Questions
Who do you work with?
We support children, parents, adults, and community partners across the Highlands and beyond. Whether it’s one-to-one mentoring, family workshops, or wellbeing projects, we tailor each piece of work to the people involved.
How do sessions take place?
Sessions can be in person, online, or within school or community settings. We keep things flexible so support can fit comfortably around daily life.
Do I need a referral?
No — anyone can get in touch directly. Some schools and organisations also refer families or staff through existing partnerships, but self-referral is always welcome.
