Services
MJO Wellbeing Services Ltd provides professional counselling for adults, and counselling with Play as Therapy for children and young people. In addition to counselling, the organisation may deliver parenting workshops and selected community wellbeing initiatives. All services are delivered in line with current safeguarding, data protection and professional standards.

Client confidentiality is respected at all times, except where there is a concern about someone’s safety or where disclosure is required by law. All work with children, young people and adults follows current safeguarding procedures. Appropriate PVG certification is held.
Payments and Cancellations
Payment terms for counselling sessions or workshops will be agreed in advance. Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less notice may be charged in full unless otherwise agreed. If MJO Wellbeing Services Ltd must cancel or reschedule, any pre-paid fees will be carried forward or refunded.

Counselling Sessions
All counselling sessions are booked in advance. If you need to cancel or reschedule, at least 24 hours’ notice is required. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full. If MJO Wellbeing Services Ltd needs to cancel or reschedule a session, any pre-paid fees will be carried forward or refunded.
Workshops and Group Events
For parenting workshops or other group events, refunds are available up to 7 days before the start date. After that time, refunds may only be offered in exceptional circumstances or if the space can be filled.
Online Payments
Where payment is made via invoice or online platform, refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 7 working days of agreement.

Session notes are kept separately from contact details and retained only for as long as necessary, typically up to seven years after the end of counselling, or as required by insurers or law. After this period, records are securely deleted or destroyed.

- Disclosure is required by law
- There is a safeguarding concern and sharing is necessary to protect someone from harm
Where appropriate and agreed, limited information may be shared with referrers to support continuity of care.
